Welcome to our website which is maintained by staff at Towyn and Kinmel Bay Town Council based in our Resource Centre.

In this website we discharge our statutory duty to inform residents of the various community council meetings with agenda’s and minutes and we report on community events undertaken by the community council including our grants process and community awards. We have 15 Councillors representing the two wards Towyn and Kinmel Bay which combine to a total of some 8,500 residents and up to some 50,000 visitors in the holiday season.

We also report on matters which are not in the councils operating domain and over which the council have no direct control but which we feel are of interest to residents and visitors and maybe those thinking of moving to the area.

Our resource centre and adjacent community centre also contain furnished rooms for hire and are located close the community library in Kinmel Bay, by the Square with restaurants, fast food and nearby ASDA supermarket.

In addition to our volunteer councillors meeting regularly to represent residents in matters of planning, environment and various challenges as can be seen in the agenda’s and minutes published on this site, the council also arrange for the planting programme and Christmas lighting arrangements. The council provide seating in the council chamber and welcome public participation on items in the agenda.
