WORKING FOR THE COMMUNITY

Monthly Archives: March 2013

A group of children from Ysgol Y Foryd were welcomed by Mayor Ken Stone recently during a visit to our Council Chambers, within the Community Resource Centre, Kinmel Bay.  The children have set up their own School Council, where they can put forward and discuss any ideas they may have.

Mayor Ken Stone thought it would be a good idea for the children to come along and experience the real thing, sitting around the table and discussing their agenda (which they had prepared at school).  We really enjoyed having the children here and hope they enjoyed their visit, whilst gaining a little knowledge of how things work within the Council Chambers.

Who knows, we may have discovered our future Prime Minister!!!!
